Hi Word! Does somebody explain to me the difference between a 'solver' 'Segregate' and a 'solver' 'Coupled' in FLUENT? Thank you very much!!

For details you can read the theory manual from Fluent 12.
In short the segregated solver solves each equation independently in an iterative manner like in the SIMPLE method of Pathankar. The coupled method solves simultaneously the flow equations. Do |
