I have used simple explicit scheme code to simulate laminar flow over flat plate.

Results show some velocity overshoot just next to the plate surface. does anyone know the reason?

i am attatching the C code i have written....

i have taken
u_freestream=100m/s
dy=5 x 10^(-6)
dx=5 x 10^(-5)

Re=1.363*10^(-7)
rho and p are sea level qty.

also some one suggested me to use variable grid length along the y-axis, specially near the plate.... how am i suppose to do that...???
