Grid Indepandance

Dear All,

Which parameter (like volume weighted average velocity or outlet temperature or Reynolds number) should consider to compare whether the obtained solution is grid independence or not?

My problem is like this

I have performed CFD simulations to get the residence time distribution for a 3-D geometry. I get the steady state flow filed by solving the flow and turbulence equations. once steady state is attained, flow field is frozen tracer is injected. this is attained by disabling flow & turbulence equations and solving the species balance equation.

I have to perform the grid independence exercise for this case. i have meshed the geometry with different cell sizes and performed the simulations for all the different mesh size geometries. now which parameter should consider to compare whether the obtained solution is grid independence or not?
