I want to simulate a flow through a porous media ( wind turbine defined as a porous disc ) I use a velocity inlet as a boundary condition for inpout and pressure outlet for output and symmetry of both sides. But i dont know what type of boundary conditions I can use for the disc in gambit.
I need your help please
Thanks

you need to creat a volume for the disc. and name it in Gambit. when it is read into Fluent, you can specify the zone as "porous area" for its boundary condition. that's what I thought. hope I can help.
