convergency problem with Solid Pressure Model

I am simulating two phase (water and glass beads) in a stirred tank. At first, I did not consider the Solid Pressure Model for the glass beads and got the converged steady state results.
The trend of the velocity curves is similar, but the simulation results for the glass beads are larger than the experimental results almost at everywhere in the tank.
Then i switch on the Solid Pressure Model. But the problem is that when this model was included in the simulation, almost all the residuals are increased 10 to 100 times. Even if I set the time step as 0.001s, it still very difficult to get the results converged. How to deal with this problem?

any advice from you is appreciate...
