How to decide whether 2D analysis will do or not in case of centrifugal pump CFD analysis? Since flow is not actually not purely centrifugal (axial+radial flow). Moreover how to decide whether cyclic symmetry will help or not since at each degree outlet BC is different (volute casing). Kindly guide.
