Default 64-bit users in the automotive world

I know that a lot of Automotive CFD is done using 64-bit HPs and IBMs. But is anyone out there:

a) Using 64-bit Solaris or IRIX?

b) Converting lock stock and barrel to amd64 or ia64? And if so, using what OS?
