Hi new here so be gentle!
Im modelling an intake system for a open cockpit racing car for a project, and i have a forward facing intake scoop immersed in the flow. I was hoping someone of greater knowledge then I would be able to tell me how i would model the boundary conditions.? I know the pressure drop across the intake system, i am looking to find out the mass flow rate into the scoop itself. I am trying to figure out what pressure to set the face of the intake at and the pipes connected to the engine, i know that the total pressure drop across the system is 0.4 bar. If anyone can offer some help that would be great! Cheers |
