drag coefficient results

I found different Drag Coefficient results (about 10%) for profile computations, for the same Reynolds number, but with different settings of chord and velocity. Almost constant with increasing velocity (slightly decreasing) and more influenced in decreasing by chord increasing. Do you know something about these?

Re: drag coefficient results

What is your Reynolds number and the geometry? And what kind of solver are you using. The changes may be caused by the following: When you change your chord lenght, you are also changing the grid, right? If you first have chord lenght c and 100 pts on that, then make it 1.1c and still keep 100 pts on the shape, the grid will be different. When you change the flow speed... you might need to make your time-steps smaller. These are just some suggestions, it's hard to tell what is going on without knowing more about the problem.
