Cube rotating inside a tank

Hi,
I read about this problem on one of the threads about a cube rotating inside a tank.My doubt is how we will give the interface in the cube section(cube's faces or a cylindrical surface)?
Please help me on this query as i have a project related to this kind of problem.

RBF Morph!

Take a look to the Step 2 of this tutorial:http://www.rbf-morph.com/index.php/tutorial/tutorial1
This approach can be used if you have a large (but non continuum!) rotation; for instance you can accommodate up to 90 deg using the same mesh topology...
If you have a continuum rotation you need a sliding interface and I think that a cylinder that properly envelopes the cube could be the right choice...
