Default The reasons why FEM has more computational quantit

It is the common sense that the FEM needs more computation than FVM. But why, this is my opinion as follow, please discuss it. FEM being suitable for complexity mesh, which mean that its data structure is base on element rather than node. On the other hand, the unknown variable is connected with the nodes. So FEM must change the element data structure to node data structure and it will waste much CPU time. But the Edge-base FEM has solved this problem.
