Curvilinear Transformation

I've got a summer project to create a C++ code to transform a curvilinear mesh into a cartesian mesh for use in another program. The purpose being that the program only accepts cartesian and I need to transform an irregular shape into it. I have been searching and have found a textbook that seems to be similar to what I'm looking for:
http://books.google.com/books?id=pMH_fEFdilMC&pg=PA336&lpg=PA336&dq=transf orming+grid+rectangular&source=bl&ots=LdiY_rRX9h&s ig=uxoUW3MDtRkzDeJYYRNI8ckgfIE&hl=en&ei=j2MWTJu1Ko SBlAfMpcyyDA&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum= 7&ved=0CCoQ6AEwBjgK#v=onepage&q&f=false The only problem is that it's for 2d and I need a similar resource for 3d. If anyone could point in that direction it would be much appreciated. |
