Pressure Correction Equation

Hi,
I'm confused. Is the pressure correction equation obtained by substituting the corrected velocities into the continuty equation? or by taking the divergence of the continuity equation and then using the Simple algorithm on the Poisson equation?
Please reply asap.
Many Thanks!

pressure correction

in the pressure correction eqn - derived from continuity eqn, the velocities non-satisfying the continuity is used (derived from approximated pressure field). once pressure correction (poisson type) is derived - simple method is used to solve for p'.

replied ASAP.
