Does anyone know about a free software for modelling oil spill transport on free surface waters? Preferably 2D!! Even if you know about a low price one, please let us know. One of us is a PhD student at the University "Politehnica" of Bucharest, Romania, working in the field of oil pollution rivers, so the software would be used for educational purposes. Thanks for the help.

You can try to use FOAM (www.nabla.co.uk) for that purpose. It is free for academic use.
