happy_clp New Member leping chen Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: china Posts: 19 Rep Power: 17	I had a finite element procedure based on 2D shape function, now, I want to compute the similar 1D problem. How can I change 2D shape function into 1D. That is to say, I want to compute beam element after computing nine-node quadrilateral.Thanks
