Hmmm, seems like you are trying to compile a Linux code on Windows. This header file won't be of any use, you will need the complete source code of the compiler in order to do something with this.

If you can describe your problem maybe I can help.

I didn't know this header is for linux, i think you are right i have a code which uses sys/time.h and i am running it in windows and if sys/time.h is for linux i should run the code in linux. is there any header file similar sys/time.h for windows?

1. Your code already runs on Windows ?
2. In principle you can recompile a Linux code on Windows (if you have the sources) using Cygwin or Mingw.
