lattice boltzmann method

hello,

I am working for my Ph.D at Indian institute of technology madras in Thermal turbomachines laboratory on rotor stator interaction using lattice boltzmann method with respect to turbomachinery applications. Will anyone working on this area, plese contact me at kdevaraj_iitm@yahoo.com.

regards,

Oh? Is LBM mature enough for turbine application?

Agree with Quain Tchew. As I understand, Lattice Boltzman method has some difficulties in dealing with turbulent flows. So not sure that either for the turbomachinary applications.

And LBM has some difficulties in compressible flow.
