Dear all,

I'm trying to evaluate an A/C duct design. The duct is distributing air from the Air Handling unit (placed on Ground floor) to upper 3 floors.- see picture.
Kindly comment on my following concerns:
1. Will CFD-RANS code evaluation give good results?
2. I’ve done 3D modeling in Autocad; can that be exported to a CFD software? if yes which format will be the best (i.e. step, IGS); is it best to mesh it prior to exporting from autocad?
