Structured and unstructured mesh in shock zone
 

Hi everybody,
Is a shock on an airfoil a little bit more dissipated along the airfoil with an unstructured mesh than with a structured mesh ??

By right, it shouldn't be like that. Some times, it could be the way you plot the results that can interfere with the smoothness of the plots. A good unstructured mesh should be able to produce results similar to the structured mesh result.
