creating vortex core line
 

hi there,

I try to make CFD study on suction vortices in sump pump. The purpose is to detect and visualize vortex core line that possibly enter the pump. This kind of vortex will decrease efficiency of pump.

However, I don't know how to visualize vortex core line. My question is, how to locate and visualize vortex core line in CFD software. What i mean with vortex core line is a line that locate in the center of 3D vortex and by visualizing it, I can see how long the vortex is. I use CFX-post.
