Boundary Condition Setup

Default Boundary Condition Setup

If we are doing a 1-D modeling of dredged channel and want to see the impact to the environment, where is the best downstream cross-section to set up boundary condition? Can you provide any criteria for doing this? For example, 20 times of water depth from the dredged part?
