hello all,
I wonder if by now there exists any "look-up" table for choosing appropriate turbulence model (two equation, one equation or zero equation) for computing RANS (2D/3D). Some of criteria could be: 1. Accuracy in prediciting seperation/ reattachment/ re-laminarization 2. Accuracy in predicting heat transfer 3. Accounting for anisotropy of reynolds stresses 4. Accounting for compressibility of fluid 5. Ease of programming 6. computing cost/time How about combination of one or more of the above criteria ??? Maybe the CFD experts using this forum based on their experience/knowledge start developing ranking tables!! Thanks, Abhijit Tilak |
