A friend of mine works as an applications engineer for a commercial CFD company. During a recent training course an attendee asked him whether the residual curves indicated how much air was left in the system. My friend convinced him that the residuals were actually an indication of 'air-er'

this is not funny if you find yourself in a situation that person asking such a question is your boss, and you are working on CFD in a recognised, highly advanced research center... :-\ not funny, believe me... quite depressing

Actually I observe that people start using all those codes, just pressing the buttons and not even attempting to read something about it (not even the bloody manual).

It is sad, and dangerous...
