Appropriate CFD software

HI, I work for a small company, we design valves, nozzles, couplings amongst other things. I am now trying to introduce CFD software to our design efforts, we use Pro-e for our designs. Can anyone point me towards the most appropriate software to be used with pro-e for the kinds of products described above, also if you can give a ball park price for the software, that would help me on my search narrowing the options to further research. Thanks for your help!

Hi,

You can use open FOAM:

It doesn't cost U a cent. Otherwise, you can buy commercial Softwares like Fluent, Ansys CFX etc. They're expensive though.

regards, manely
