Default Ship hull hydrodynamics

I am doing a project on the hydrodynamics of a ship hull. Does anybody know in which field i can concentrate more, what the main problems of a ship hull are, regarding to hydrodynamics?Any ideas..?

I am not sure exactly what you are asking, but I will not let that keep me from providing a response. It is an excellant document and can be applied to many other kinds of projects.
