Boundary conditions for Spalart-Allmaras Turbulence model

Hello
The farfield boundary conditions for the Spalart Allmaras turbulence model is given in the literature as follows:

A stupid question rather.
I don't belong to the FVM community, so the term farfield is rather new to me. I am interested in computing flow over an airfoil. Does farfield mean the domain outlet condition or does it mean anything else.
Help in this regard will be appreciated.

Yes, farfield refers to outer boundary (inlet and outlet) for an airfoil problem. You will need the boundary condition on \nu only on the inlet part of the farfield boundary.
