Is it possible to relate Viscosity with Friction coeff? -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

DrHilton New Member Join Date: Nov 2010 Posts: 4 Rep Power: 15	Hi everyone. I am working on a particle model, but for the first trial, I have to simulate this particles as a continuous fluid. The particles are balls of graphite of 6cm diameter. I know all the properties of this "pebbles" but I have no idea about how to convert friction parameters into viscosity in order to "convert" this properties. I thought with experiments (but I don´t have budget for this) I don´t really believe it is possible in a proper way, but boss is boss...
