about Modal and Nodal in spectral element method
 

I just learn the spectral element method. If I use Modal expansion, I don't need to further divide every element; if I use Nodal expansion, then I should divide every element according to Chebychev points or Gasuss-Labotto-Legendre points. Is that right??
