i'm a PH.D student dealing with experiment and i'm a cfd lover. i did a MaccorMack code(because of simpleness *_^) and want to simulate turbulent with LES method(because of popularity ^_^ ). first i simulate a subsonic BL with a Blasus velocity profile at inflow, and give 0.1*U disturb. the length of Lx is very large, but i did not see the turbulence? can i do this like above?
to me, as a fan, which type flow that i'd better simulate. that is to say, which is simple and easy to realize, jet? or channel, or others. thanks for your advice |
