Hi, has anyone read this book by Chorin and Marsden:

"A Mathematical Introduction to Fluid Mechanics"

I would like to know if it includes the description of the projection method pioneered by Chorin.

I haven't seen the latest editions of the book but as I recall from the first edition the answer is no it doesn't contain a description of Chorin's projection method - the book is primarily an introduction to the "purer" side of mathematical fluid mechanics; i.e. no CFD,
