Default Structured (Hexa) Mesh-Boundary Layer

Hi All,

Please clarify my question.

In Structured (Hexa) Mesh, if we give very fine mesh (element size=0.05mm) at the boundary of geometry, does itself act as boundary layer though we didnít compute prism mesh?
