Dear all,
I am a student and am new to CFD. As part of my project i am modelling flow past one cylinder and past an arrangement(parallel and behind one another) of cylinders.
I used fluent to model and run. I am required to write a code to compare the results. I am having trouble writing the code.
If someone has done any work on this case previously, Kindly help.
Thanks

I am not sure why you are interested in this topic, as it has been done by other people.

If you are interested in the flow structure, just read the relevant paper...

You mentioned you want to write code by yourself,

i shall say this is not a good idea, as i am only familiar with FVM and FDM , this is a tough task for a beginner,

A better choice for you is using multi-block grid system , or unstructured meshes

both of them will ask you to do some extra job about grid generation and post-processing

but this is a good start for you to go deep into CFD, best wishes
