Hello,
It's been some time since I've taken a CFD course, and I'm trying to get back into it. I'd like to model a transient blowout of a liquid slug from a pipe and get an idea of what it looks like as it emerges. I was thinking of taking a shot at coding it up myself, then try and do it in OpenFoam. I thought finding a way to track the interface would be the hardest part, but I'm having trouble determining an appropriate algorithm just for the transient solution. Most texts seem to pass over unsteady flow for incompressible liquids. Could someone suggest an algorithm? Than you. |
