Hi everybody.

Can anyone give me a few hints on how to sort an edge based data structure, so the triangles are ordered counter-clockwise? The data structure consists in the cells which the edge belongs to and the point indexes that form the edge.

Thanks

See the book by Rainald Lohner, Applied CFD Techniques,John Wiley and Sons Ltd. This gives many algorithms for unstructured data.
