constant heat flux BC

Hi!! Anybody knows the real life example of flow past a sphere with constant heat flux boundary condition.

Thanks In Advance

Hi, The first I imagine is a meteorit coming to the dense atmosphere.

Do you need a sphere or could you use a cylinder? Hot-wire anemometers are one example of a constant heat-flux application, and there are other cases using heating elements within a flowfield that utilize constant heat flux to heat the flow.

My group has developed a volumetric particle solar receiver with submicron carbon particles. Due to their small size and high conductivity, assuming constant heat flux is a good approximation.
