Good morning,
I am applying a Spalart-Allmaras turbulence model to a CFD model. I am referring to the below reference: https://turbmodels.larc.nasa.gov/spalart.html At same point, it gives me the value of NUT and NUTilda far field as a range as a function of "nu infinity". There is no list of symbols, so what is nu infinity? Is it the kinematic viscosity of the fluid? Do you have a source where this is well explained? Thanks |

Yes, nu infinity is the far field kinematic viscosity of the fluid. It should be in the original SA paper but I am unsure. However, the source you mention is just as well established as the original, you can trust it
