Dear all,
I'm looking for smoothing algorithms or filtering techniques suitable for smoothing sensitivities(gradients of the cost function wrt. the design variables) obtained by the adjoint method. In my calculations, gradients are calculated at each of the surface nodes and they are used to perform a shape change in favor of a reduction of the cost function. I would be grateful if someone could tell me what methods are available for this purpose. Regards, Fumiya Last edited by fumiya; March 22, 2011 at 11:00. |

Dear Fumiya,
I'm working on the same topic. I've read in your presentation on slideshare you seem have find a solution. Can you give me more informations about smoothing algorithms or filtering techniques suitable for smoothing sensitivities ? Regards Olivier |
