turbulent simulation

i'm using fluent 6.3 and having a problem to simulate turbulent flow pass through various cylinder..
can anyone help me with this problem?

my problem is to define the variable for the solution..i have done several tutorial but all all them are about to laminar flow..
can the same variable use for turbulent flow?

Nakaguchi H, Hashimoto K, Muto S, An experimental study on aerodynamics drag of rectangular cylinders, J. Japan Soc. of Aeronautical and Space Sci.,, 1968, Vol.16, p. 1- 5.

I have searched everywhere but with no luck.... I need it for my project as a reference. Any help would be extremely appreciated!!!!!!!
