Sound Wave Generation
 

Hello,
I want to simulate sound waves hitting a wall inside pressure-far field by using ansys fluent 12. I am trying model that there is a speaker between A-C (as in it attached photo) and it emits sound waves. How can I generate these waves?

Please help me that is important for my thesis.

I have never dealt with problem like that, but I would just set periodic transient profile for boundary condition on A-C with frequency(or period) equal to the frequency(period) of the sound.

You could write periodic transient table according to the Fluent manual.
