Dear All,

Could anyone advise me as to how I can find the centre of a vortex from my streamfunction? I have computed the streamfunction and I know the locations of its maximum value but I don't know how to proceed from here as the vortex is not a nice shape (unless I assume it collapses to a circle around its centre...?)

Thank you for your attention.
