Particle Injections

I am currently investigating particle transport in microfluidic channels. The particles I am interested in are solid particles with the same density as silicon. I have created such a solid material in the materials database. However when I then go to injections and search for the new silicon material as the injection type it is not there available for selection. The range of solid materials there is actually quite limited. Any help would be much appreciated as this is proving a major stumbling block in my research.

Thanks in advance,

Colm

Is this a materials database for a particular code? If so, you should tell us which code.

The database is for code FLUENT 6.0.12.

Are you using the VOF, Mixture or Eulerian model? Try entering silicon as a fluid (not solid) in the materials database!
