Hi there, Im trying to model a 100mmX50mm Horizontal natural convection cavity(rectangular box) in fluent.Im having trouble getting the solution to converge. There is a temperature of 90 degrees celcius applied to left side and 50 to the right. All my boundary conditions appear to be fine..does anybody that has carried out work in this area have any tips?? Any help appreciated! thanks!

Please use a low value of g. Something like .1 to start with. Late incraese it to higher values step by step.

when you say step by step....does that mean i have to use unsteady time ?Bousinnesq assumes steady time

I mean use small value of g and do the iterations. Once the solution converge increase the value of g to higher value and do the iterations.
