CFD Techniques for Environmental Aerodynamics
 
Dear all,

I was wondering if I could receive some comments about which grid and solver techniques to use best for aerodynamics around buildings.

Taking into account the atmospheric BL, the fact that grid refinement cannot be massive next to buildings due to grid size and computing time issues, which turbulence models to use best, ...

I think you should take a look at http://windenergyresearch.org/2010/0...olund-project/ the bolund experiement.
Just google the name and you will find many resources.
