Route to CFD
 

I've trawled previous threads in an effort to gain a better understanding as to how most of the users have gone about becoming CFD analysts/users/engineers, but haven't been fully able to answer all of my questions.
I thought I'd give it a try myself so.
I'm graduating from BEng. in Mechanical Engineering this week, and have been accepted for a MSc in CFD in Cranfield starting this September.
For my final year thesis, I completed a CFD project. I found the whole area very interesting and decided that this was the field that I wanted to work in. After talking with my fluids lecturer, he explained how a postgraduate degree was imperative if I were to be even considered for a job in CFD.
I'm interested to know what are my job prospects at the end of this particular Masters degree, am I likely to get a job i CFD, also with my having no work experience.
I've done a lot of research, and see that there are many opportunities in the UK, US and Germany.
I'm curious to hear the stories of how the users of this forum came about jobs and expertise in their areas.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do always remember that CFD is only a "tool" you can never "design" anything using CFD, all you can do is test different designs or look into niche features. Always work on you fundamental aerodynamics/fluid mechanics first and then think about the utility of CFD.
