I have a pi-slice of an annular disk. The disk is comprised of two parts- and open part, and a porous aluminum foam part. There are circumferential and radial channels. These channels do not penetrate to the surface of the disk.

how do I begin blocking such a geometry? Is there a clever trick?

Thanks.
