CFD+Multi-physics modelling by fluidyn-MP

fluidyn-MP is a multi-physics software to study dynamical behavior of different materials subjected to various physical phenomena on a single platform. It has a completely integrated and coupled numerical solver for:

• Fluid flow analysis (fluidyn-NS)
• Fluid-structure Interaction (fluidyn-FSI)
• Conjugate heat transfer-Heat conduction in solids (fluidyn-CHT)
• Fluid induced Acoustics (fluidyn-CAF)
• Magnetohydrodynamics (fluidyn-MHD)
• DSMC (fluidyn-MP/DSV)

fluidyn-MP offers several Finite volume solvers for fluid dynamics for multiphase flow. Solvers are explicit, semi-implicit or totally implicit and can be used alone or together according to the expected fluid flow. In some cases several solvers can be used together e.g. for coupled modeling of incompressible flow together with highly compressible flow. Free surface as well as dispersed 2-phase flow can be modeled either with Euler or Lagrange solvers.

Coupled with above mentioned flow models, fluidyn-MP offers heat conduction and stress analysis- linear or large displacement/strain rate, in Finite Elements. It allows a user to handle complex physics problems where he may need both FE & FV simultaneous such as transient heat transfer & dynamic interactions problems.

fluidyn- MP also includes structured and unstructured mesh generators together with optimizing algorithms. Thus in case of geometry optimization, results of one calculation can modify the geometry mesh automatically based on optimization criteria of the user for the next calculation.

fluidyn- MP can model and analyze a wide range of physical processes and engineering problems. The main fields of application include:

1. Fluid flow analysis,
2.Fluid/structure Interaction
3.Mechanical and thermal analysis of solid structures,
4.Chemical reactions (multi-species)
5.Conjugate heat transfer
6.Acoustics.
7.Electromagnetics(coupled)..& many more.
