Hi all!
Quick query which I am look for some clarification on. I am running a simple flow analysis in a u-bend and have completed a 'steady' investigation. I have also carried out a grid independence test for this and thus have a 'good quality' mesh (backed up with graphs showing force convergence, pressure etc ) Now I am looking to carry out an unsteady investigation, however this involves a time step. So can I keep the same grid I used in the steady investigation or do I and just investigate the effect of a varying time step? Or do I need to re-evaluate the mesh under unsteady conditions and then vary the time step size. If the latter then which do I alter first ? Time step or Mesh size? Help :-/ |
