about MUSCL-Hancock?

hi, all

I apply MUSCL-Hancock Method (MHM) with superbee slope limiter to conservation laws.

I know how to use MHM, but i do not understand why MHM is of second order. Is it because the truncation error of Taylor's series expansion is of second order? I am confused because in my mind, the scheme is of first order if the error is of second order.

One more question is how to prove the superbee slope limiter is total variation diminishing (TVD). Could some one give some hint? Thanks in advance.
