Skywalker is on a distinguished road
Hi everyone,

I am new in this forum and a to ANSYS thus my question is a very simple one.
I modelled a VAWT (kind of quiterevolution) for a study I am carrying out with the University. One the simulation was ran I have been able to value the torque on the shaft through the calculator function. However I don't know whether the value I have been given is referred to the torque generate by the wind (viscosity, gradient pressure etc) or it takes in account the toque inducted by the three blade (lift and drag). I hope I made clear my doubt.

Thanks to everyone so kind to answer.
