Hi,
We recently updated our STAR-CD to version 4.16, and since then I run into a bunch of problems, mainly because I do not use STAR-CD very often in the first place. When I tried to run an analysis actively (it calles the subroutine posdat.f), but I found out it was running on an old file, not the one I just read and up-loaded in prostar. Why is this happening? I also did not see the files .prob, not sure if it is related to this issue or not. Can anyone here provide any advice on this? Thanks Huilian |

here are the command I used to up_load the mesh file from Star-ccm+ to pro-star:
rccm,name.ccm,Restart_1 load,name.ccm,Restart_1 I can output fluid velocity data from all mesh cells fine, but somehow even after I save this into star.mdl, but the pro-star does not run the casename star? Instead, it ran a totally different old file. Just more comments on the previous post to clarify the problem. Thanks Huilian |
